Email Privacy Notice

Here at InfoSum, we're all about privacy - just look at the products we build for managing personal data. You could say we're somewhat obsessed by privacy. This Privacy Notice describes how we handle your email address - and other associated contact details - collected through our website.

For our full details and ICO registration, please see our general Privacy Policy.

When you submit your email address through our website, or contact us directly via email, we shall:

  • add you to our customer relationship management system;
  • contact you directly; and
  • send you general marketing and product updates.

We may also associate your details with any further interaction you have or have had with us, including sales, potential sales and visits to our website.  We use cookies to track visits to our website, which you may disable or delete. For more information about cookies, see our cookie policy.

Our legal basis for doing this is our legitimate interest in managing and marketing our business.

If you do not wish you receive email updates from us, or only wish to receive certain types of email, please inform us. You can do this either by clicking on the link included in any of the marketing emails we send you, or by emailing us directly via hello@infosum.com.

If you would like us to stop processing your personal information completely, please contact us via hello@infosum.com and we will comply with all requests to the extent we are able.  At a minimum we may keep a record of and track such requests to prevent any future processing of your personal data.

We use several third party services to help us manage communications, which process your personal data in accordance with our instructions. The primary services are:

  • Hubspot CRM - we use this service to store your contact details, manage your communication preferences and send and receive emails.
  • Freshdesk - we use this service to manage our technical helpdesk and inbound email.
  • Gmail - we use this service to send and receive email.

We may use other third party services from time to time.

Because we use cloud based services to manage communication your personal data may be processed on servers around the world by these third party processors, and may be accessed by our team when they are travelling.

We will also not share your data with third parties, although we may share with other companies within our group where we need to do so.

If you have any further questions about this policy, our data protection officer is Danvers Baillieu, who may be contacted via dpo@infosum.com.
