A little over a year ago, in April 2025, the biggest milestone in InfoSum’s history happened: we were acquired by WPP. The acquisition validated what we'd long championed: decentralized collaboration technology that prioritizes privacy is a powerful driver for growth.
It connected InfoSum's pioneering technology to the world's largest network of brands and media partners. And it signaled a fundamental reimagining of how the world's most ambitious marketers leverage data to drive growth in the AI era.
Twelve months later, the results speak for themselves.
One company, one vision: Connect the world's data
The acquisition put a marker down representing the changing world of data-driven advertising: A clear break from the legacy centralized technology of the past, which is static, slow, and increasingly ineffective. That old model is collapsing under the weight of privacy regulation and media fragmentation, providing an increasingly narrower view into consumer behavior.
In a world where media is everywhere and everything, brands don’t need bigger ID graphs; they need connectivity to the signals that truly unify customer understanding across every touchpoint, every channel, every moment that matters. And they need to do it in a way that respects consumer privacy and earns consumer trust.
InfoSum and WPP proved the perfect match. Already aligned on the vision to connect the world's best data without ever sharing it, the acquisition accelerated the momentum for both companies.
The launch of Open Intelligence: Where vision meets execution
The impact was immediate. Just two months after the acquisition, WPP launched Open Intelligence. A unified intelligence layer that empowers brands to build proprietary intelligence they can continuously learn from and act on.
With InfoSum’s technology as the foundation, Open Intelligence connects brand first-party data, partner data, and WPP data. It then uses AI to unlock new, previously unseen growth opportunities, identify optimal activation pathways, and predict outcomes with precision. All achieved without moving, sharing, or centralizing data.
Key to the success of Open Intelligence is its ability to connect decentralized, live signals from across the ecosystem, regardless of where they live, which cloud or warehouse they reside in, or which region they’re in. The game-changing introduction of InfoSum Beacons solved all of the above, enabling seamless cross-cloud, cross-region data collaboration at scale while supporting new and expanded data formats.
Together, Beacons and Open Intelligence empower organizations with composable, future-proofed technology designed for the era we're in, not the one we're leaving behind.
Momentum in motion: Growth, scale, and client success
Since joining WPP, the momentum at both companies has been undeniable. InfoSum has seen a 42% increase in client acquisition, a 173% surge in platform usage, and a 46% increase in the number of companies leveraging InfoSum's technology. We're also rapidly expanding our global footprint and entering new markets, including Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, and South America, bringing secure data collaboration to brands in every corner of the world.
On the WPP side, InfoSum was the final piece of the puzzle in WPP’s transformation. By the end of 2025, the positive impact of this transformation had become clear for all to see. Open Intelligence and WPP Open played a significant role in a string of high-profile wins. That momentum has only accelerated in 2026, with marquee clients including Estée Lauder, Mastercard, Jaguar Land Rover, TruGreen, Reckitt, Salling Group, Henkel, the UK Government, and Tesco, among the organizations trusting WPP to deliver outcomes and growth.
These wins are strong validation that the market recognizes the need for a new way forward, and that InfoSum's approach is the foundation upon which it's built.
Our shared commitment: Collaboration without limits
One year ago, WPP and InfoSum united around a shared belief: the future of marketing is built on privacy, collaboration, and intelligence. We've validated that vision with innovation, growth, and client success.
But this is just the beginning. The shift to intelligence-led marketing is accelerating, and the infrastructure that enables it becomes more critical every day. InfoSum and WPP aren't just responding to that shift; we're leading it. That’s our commitment: to continue delivering the innovation that empowers brands to win and grow.
